In 1978, Dick Rottman, our founder and former Nevada State Insurance Commissioner, brought forth an entrepreneurial spirit that would lead Adams and House Insurance into the future, beginning the journey with a new name, A and H Insurance.

During the 1980′s and 90′s, acquisitions were made, partnerships were formed, and A and H Insurance began to lead the industry in both commercial and personal lines insurance within the great State of Nevada and now beyond. A and H and its offices have experience with captive insurance companies as well as self-insured programs.

Our commitment was made primarily to serve residents of Nevada, and that is why the company initially became politically active in working with our legislators, and helping our community understand and handle the difficulties of “hard to place” insurances and providing valuable information to insurance companies to help stabilize the insurance industry in this state.

A and H Insurance is partnered with Greenwich Group, Inc. and Brown Palace Network. Both organizations are comprised of insurance professionals around the country and meet to address current industry trends and marketing strategies.

Today, A and H Insurance is licensed to do business in over 35 states. The company currently has three locations: Reno, Winnemucca, and Las Vegas. A and H Insurance remains an independently owned and operated agency.
